cYkoTIk Bio

cYkoTIk is an underground "Horrorcore" artist from Ohio and is based out of Michigan. He is the self proclaimed "new breed" of the wicked shit. Starting in early 2004 with the home made demo tape "Murda Muzik" and the "Dr.Byzo And Cykotik Project" Mixtape the following year. It wasn't until 2011 that he got his Official start forming the group ILLvILL. They dropped their debut Mixtape "Welcome 2 Da ILL" July 19th of the same year through Knocturnal Records. Unfortunately ILLvILL broke up in 2012 leaving cYkoTIk to go solo.

cYkoTIk returned October 6th, 2012 with the release of "Something Wicked This Way Comes-EP" a 4 track collection of tracks that appeared previously on the Mixtape series from UGP "Keep It Underground" Plots 1-3. The EP was released to distance himself from ILLvILL and show that he was still a force to be reckoned with in Horrorcore. Featuring the underground hit "No Rest For The Wicked" the EP sold successfully locally to create a bigger buzz for cYkoTIk than what ILLvILL had. He followed that release up with "Synystersoundscapes:The Devil Inside:The Mixtape Vol. 1" June 25th, 2013 to huge underground success. Containing the hits; "Fuck What You Think" and the controversial underground smash "Body Bag Swagg".  (Due to legal problems and copyright laws the album was revised and re-released with new tracks on October 28th, 2014.) cYkoTIk also launched the viral video series "Murder Monthly" to YouTube which chronicles the inside day to day antics of cYkoTIk, his fans, friends and fellow Horrorcore artists. (The DVD is set to drop late 2014.)

2014 seen the release of his first full length album "Dark Dayz" released on April 18th. The album featured appearances from Wicked Wisconsin's own Bloody Ruckus and Houston Texas' Thommy Nekro on the album favorite "Everyone".

Scheduled for release in the Summer of 2015 is his follow up album and most anticipated release yet entitled "Revelationz".  Promised to be his best release to date...

Despite the darkness, the future couldn't be brighter for cYkoTIk.
